About Yami

Born in Brazil to a French father and a Brazilian mother, Yami Trequesser studied journalism at the FACHA University in Rio de Janeiro. In 1998 she became an Editor at Cade, the largest search engine in Brazil at that time.

In 2000 she was invited to work for Idealize, a Sao Paulo technology website run by the largest publishing company in Latin America, Editora Abril. After 2 years she returned to Rio de Janeiro as an Editor for the Internet Supplement of Jornal do Brasil, one of Brazil's most established newspapers.

Since moving to London in 2002, Yami has worked as a Project Manager for TMP/Monster and Ogilvy Interactive, and she is currently employed by Them. In her spare time she writes about the internet, new media and trends in technology for Brazilian websites such as Bluebus, Bolsa de Mulher and Oi Londres. You can find her at yami@pobox.com
